Seann William Scott was born in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, to William Frank Scott and Patricia Anne Simons. Scott is the youngest of seven siblings. His father died in 2007. Scott graduated from Park High School, where he was part of the basketball and varsity football teams. He has attended the University of Wisconsin and Glendale Community College. Scott dedicated himself to acting and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
